Jane Gillies
RGN. Advanced Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner, Co-founder
and Managing Director of City Aesthetics Clinic
Jane is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and has over 35 years nursing experience working within the NHS gaining vast experience in surgical and medical care. Jane then went on to train as an aesthetic practitioner in Harley Street London, and now has over 9-year aesthetic experience, specialising in advanced aesthetic procedures such as lip enhancement, dermal fillers, cheek fillers, anti-wrinkle injections and chemical skin peels. Jane has a special interest in lip augmentation, she is one of the best known, leading practitioners offering this treatment in Newcastle
Jane has advanced training from some of the best national and international aestheticians including DR Huw Jones from Harley street and Dr Mauricio De Maio.
Diane Wade

Diane has been a Registered General Nurse for over 30 years. Working in the NHS in surgical and medical wards before becoming an Advanced Nurse Specialist. Diane is an independent Nurse Prescriber, she prescribes treatments, mainly anti-wrinkle treatments and fillers for her own and other practitioners clients. Diane trained as an Advanced Aesthetics Nurse Practitioner in Harley Street London in 2010, gaining a vast amount of skills and knowledge in medical aesthetic procedures.
Diane worked for one of the UKs largest medical aesthetics procedure companies, working across the whole of the northern region. Diane works in collaboration with the team at City Aesthetics Clinic. Diane’s main focus being anti-wrinkle treatments such as Azzalure, Botox and Bocouture. Diane specialises in offering anti-wrinkle treatments at a more advanced level in the under eye and lower face area.
Emma Egan
RGN, Nurse BA Hons, Access to HE Diploma, Aesthetics Nurse Practitioner
Emma studied at Northumbria University, obtaining a first-class master’s degree in Adult Nursing.
Upon graduating in 2020, Emma began her career as a urology nurse, gaining valuable experience
and clinical skills as a qualified nurse.
Emma trained in Botulinum Toxin (Botox) and dermal fillers in 2021 with one of the leading
companies for cosmetic training, ‘Acquisition Aesthetics’. Since then, Emma has found working in
aesthetics extremely rewarding and considers it a privilege being able to support patients
throughout the process of their treatment.
Emma also specialises in microsuction, the ear wax removal technique. Impacted ear wax can have a
detrimental effect on people’s health and well-being. For Emma, being able to offer a safe and
effective procedure that removes ear wax buildup, has been very fulfilling.
Jessica
Junior receptionist
Jessica is our junior receptionist and is our newest member of the team. Jessica can answer any of your queries and make appointments for you. She has a very friendly personality and will make you feel at ease during your visit to the clinic.
Michael
General manager/medical receptionist
Michael is the clinic’s current general manager/medical receptionist. Michael’s general managerial role at the clinic includes promotion of treatments offered at the clinic. He is responsible for day-to-day management of/ in relation to customer care, new and existing patient enquiries, bookings and electronic diary / practice management. As one of the patient-facing members of clinic staff, Michael helps to ensure that patients feel welcome and that the clinic is safe, clean, presentable and that both reception and clinical areas promote the professional image of City Aesthetics Clinic at all times.
Samantha
Personal assistant
Sam is the clinic’s personal assistant and joined the team in 2019. Before joining the team at City Aesthetics Clinic, Sam was employed with the British Army, where she worked until 2000, as part of 39 Regiment Royal Artillery, having represented the Army in cross country running. Samantha joined Northumbria Police, and worked as a Police Officer/Constable from 2002 to 2016, going on to train in specialist interviewing of vulnerable adults and children. Before joining City Aesthetics Clinic in 2019, Sam enjoyed a brief spell with EasyJet.
